A 3‑Hour, Hands‑On Workshop for Community Resource Centres & Their Networks

Community Resource Centres are at the heart of regional WA - connecting people, supporting local groups, building digital and community skills, and helping great ideas come to life. This workshop is designed to help you do that even better. ☕🌾💡

Join us for a practical, friendly 3‑hour Impact Café workshop made especially for CRCs and the community groups you support. Whether you're helping locals apply for grants, designing community projects, or supporting grassroots organisations to grow their impact, this session will give you simple tools you can use right away.

This isn’t a dry, technical workshop - it’s conversational, hands‑on, and grounded in the types of projects CRCs work with every day.

What we’ll explore:

📍 Good project design – help your community shape strong, purpose‑driven ideas
🌱 Outcomes measurement – simple ways to show the real difference projects make
🧰 Collecting the right data & evidence – practical tools you can teach others
📝 Acquittal‑ready planning – make future reporting easier (for you and your community groups)
📣 Telling your impact story – help groups explain their work with clarity and confidence
🔄 Planning for sustainability – support projects that last beyond the first burst of energy
🤝 Peer connection – share ideas with other CRCs facing similar challenges and opportunities

Who is it for?

  • CRC managers and coordinators
  • CRC volunteers and frontline support staff
  • Local leaders connected to CRC networks
  • Anyone helping community groups apply for funding or develop local projects

You’ll walk away with:

✔ Easy‑to‑use tools for supporting community groups
✔ A simple logic model + outcomes framework for CRC and community projects
✔ More confidence in helping groups apply for funding (Lotterywest, Healthway & others)
✔ Clear steps to help locals tell their impact story
✔ Connections with other CRCs building community capacity across regional WA

Bring your ideas, your community passion, and the projects you’re already supporting — and leave with practical tools to strengthen the incredible work CRCs do every day.
