Calling all organisations supporting LGBTQIA+ communities across WA

Join us for a full‑day, hands‑on session, tailored specifically for the LGBTQIA+ support sector. It will help you strengthen your project ideas, sharpen your funding story, and build confidence in demonstrating meaningful impact for the communities you serve.

Whether you’re running peer programs, delivering inclusive services, creating safe and affirming spaces, supporting mental health initiatives, or advocating for equality — you’ll gain practical tools to clearly articulate and evidence your impact.

What we’ll dive into

🏳️‍🌈 Good project design – shape initiatives that are inclusive, responsive and community‑led
📍 Defining need and impact – articulate the unique needs of LGBTQIA+ communities and how your work responds
📏 Outcomes measurement – capture meaningful change (e.g. safety, belonging, wellbeing, participation, visibility)
📊 Collecting data & evidence – ethical, respectful and practical approaches to gathering insights
📝 Acquittal planning – simplify reporting to funders while keeping it meaningful
📣 Telling your impact story – communicate your outcomes with clarity, authenticity and confidence
🤝 Collaboration & connection – build relationships across WA’s LGBTQIA+ sector
🌱 Sustaining impact – design initiatives that create lasting, positive change for diverse communities

This is not a dry, academic workshop

It’s interactive, practical and grounded in real projects you bring on the day. You’ll actively work on your own ideas and leave with tools you can apply straight away.

Who is it for?

LGBTQIA+ support organisations • Pride and advocacy groups • Peer support networks • Youth services • Mental health and wellbeing providers • Community health organisations • Inclusion and diversity practitioners • Local government staff • Volunteer‑led LGBTQIA+ initiatives

✔ Confidence to demonstrate impact with meaningful, respectful evidence
✔ New connections and shared momentum across the sector

Bring your passion, your project ideas (big or small), and your commitment to supporting LGBTQIA+ communities — and leave with the tools to turn intention into impact.
